How to create a user and allow DSPs

Written by Julieta Erdozain

To create new users in your White Label, go to the Users > Create User section.

You will need to complete the user creation form, where you can also select which DSPs the user will be allowed to distribute their releases to.

You have five users roles available:

  1. Admin: Can create sub-accounts with any role, pre-approve releases, impersonate any client in your system, edit White Label settings, access daily catalog data trends, and more.

  2. Manager: Can create sub-accounts with the roles Manager, Label, User, or Analyst. Can impersonate sub-accounts, edit releases, and access catalog-wide data trends.

  3. Label: A "mini-manager" role. Can create User sub-accounts, impersonate them, edit releases, and access data trends for their sub-accounts only.
Note: This role was created for clients who need to create their own sub-accounts. If sub-accounts are not needed, we recommend assigning them the "User" role instead.

  4. User: Can create and manage their own releases. This role is ideal for artists or labels that don't need to manage other sub-accounts.

  5. Analyst: Can view everything but cannot add or modify releases or other information.

You can change a user's role at any time by going to the Users section, editing the user's role, and saving the changes.

How to Select DSPs when Creating a New User?

At the bottom of the user creation form, you will find the following options:

  • Fingerprint DSPs allowed: Enable this if you want the user to distribute to DSPs that use fingerprint (YouTube Content ID, TikTok, Facebook/Instagram, SoundCloud Content ID).

  • Streaming DSPs allowed: Enable this if you want the user to distribute to standard streaming DSPs that do not use fingerprinting.

You must check at least one of these two options in order to select specific DSPs for the user.

  • DSPs: after enabling the above options, you will be able to select the specific DSPs the user can distribute to. You must choose at least one DSP or select them all.
