To have your song considered for Spotify Editorial Playlists, it's crucial to set a "Digital Release Date" at least 15 days after sending the release. This ensures they receive it before it's available to the public.

How to pitch:

  1. Between 48 and 72 business hours after you send your release, log into your account on Spotify for Artists and go to the "Music" section, then "Upcoming," click on "Pitch a song." You can submit one track at a time.

  2. Select the song you want to apply and complete the form.

  3. Feel free to suggest which playlists you think your song would fit best in the "Describe your song for us" box at the end of the form. To identify potential playlists, check out the "Discovered in" section in the "Information" tab of artists similar to you in the "Their fans also listen" section on your Spotify profile. This can give you an idea of which playlists you might be a good fit for.

  4. Click on "Submit" to finish.

  5. If you want to modify something later, go back to "Upcoming," click on the 3 dots of the topic, "View submission," and click on "Edit."

Through this process, you make your song available to Spotify's editor's team. They may or may not choose it. limbo music does not participate in this process.

To find out if your song has been added to a playlist, you should log in to your Spotify for Artists account on the release day, go to "Music", and then click on "Playlist".
