When your video receives a third-party claim, you have the following options to address it.
If you decide to dispute the claim, you will need to complete a form stating that you have permission or own the disputed content. The claimants will review this dispute in a maximum of 30 days.
There are two possible outcomes at this stage:
If the other party accepts your dispute, the claim will be removed from your video, and you can monetize it normally.
If the other party decides that the content is indeed their property, you will see that the dispute was rejected. In this case, there is one final option, which is to appeal the claim. This last appeal stage is prohibited for clients, as if the dispute is rejected again at this stage, a strike will be issued on the channel, and consequently in our CMS.
We ask that at this point you try to resolve it through any external means outside of YouTube (email, WhatsApp, etc.).
This aspect is considered to ensure adherence to YouTube's guidelines and recommendations.
